TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade - What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out when it lands.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.

Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.

Safety

This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.

The full review, covering the full fee table, trade tab withdrawal policies, and regulatory details, is at TradeTheDay.
